AMS Educational Consultation Services, LLC, is Maryland-based company servicing school communities in four primary areas: (1) advocacy services for children and youth with disabilities; (2) educational advisement and behavioral counseling for troubled youth; (3) in-service teacher training for new and seasoned special/regular education teachers; and (4) technical educational support to public, private, and charter schools, organization and institutions throughout the Greater Washington, D. C. area and surrounding regional school districts. AMSECS, LLC is a for-profit company established to readily assist families of children with disabilities in navigating the complexities of the special education process within school districts, in securing their rights under IDEA and NCLB. There exist a compelling and ongoing need to assist youth in changing patterns of behaviors, that are detrimental to academic achievement and positive interpersonal relationships. AMSECS, LLC is working with youth on an individual basis, helping families of these youth to recognized problems, develop strategies to correct those problems, and create a more functional family life for all members.
