My idea is a thermoelectric phone charger that is shaped and used like a phone case. My buddy and I came up with this idea when we were sitting in my dorm room talking about renewable energy. The case will have a copper backing on it to conduct energy. When your body (or the heated surface your using to produce energy) is producing heat, the energy will get stored into a battery inside the case (since your body can't give off enough energy to sustain a smart phone the energy gets stored in a separate battery in the phone case). Once the battery is full inside the phone case, you then plug the detachable wire into your cellphone which will give it a charge. We are currently working on trying to get a patent.
