We have opened up a Limited Series A round of fundraising for TeacherJames: $50K for 10% of the company. The $50,000 is made up of 20 units of $2500 each.
Premise-TeacherJames Expert English Teaching matches Professional companies in Asia with specialized teachers in their fields (like marketing, engineering, finance) to teach English over the Internet. Our expert teachers live and work in the US or UK and have experienced backgrounds allowing them to give the most concentrated English teaching product possible.
Solving the Problem - Professional companies in China and Taiwan cannot find the English help they need, having to rely on ex-Pats or recent college graduates usually with non-specialized degrees. TeacherJames Expert English Teaching gives these companies the best way to find a Professional Teacher to meet their needs and help with presentations, proposals, and skills related to their specific fields.
Who will get benefit -For the Asian company or firm, they receive a much more intense and specialized English lesson that they cannot receive from in-person teachers. For the Teacher, they have an opportunity to meet with high level business contacts in their field from Asia, make extra income, and work flexibly from their home.
The $50K would go towards a 6 month Corporate budget, after which we will have generated revenues to expand further on our full Business Plan.
